About The Artist:
Anamika, born on September 11, 1991, is a contemporary artist based in Delhi, working at Garhi Lalit Kala Artist Studio. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in fine arts from Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University, MP (2010–2016). Her thought-provoking artworks explore themes of family, society, and the environment.
She has participated in around 45 national and international group exhibitions, including the Yuva Festival (2017), Jaipur Art Summit (2017), POP-Up Art Exhibition, London (2020), and Jehangir Art Gallery (2022). In recognition of her contributions to painting, she received the YOUTH ICON AWARD in 2018 and was awarded the Junior Fellowship by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, for 2019–2020.
Her work has been exhibited at Lalit Kala Akademi, AIFACS, Hyderabad Art Society, and the Art Society of India, Mumbai. In 2023, she showcased her art at Treasure Art Gallery, Delhi, and held parallel exhibitions in Chicago and Toronto. Most recently, she presented a solo exhibition in Shoreditch, London (Dec 2023–Jan 2024).
Anamika's artworks are part of collections in India, London, Singapore, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
