Artist statementMy artistic approach is deeply rooted in my personal experiences, cultural heritage, and surroundings, particularly influenced by the rich art and
culture of West Bengal. By incorporating elements of Bengali art and culture into my art work, I create a unique and authentic expression of my
identity and perspective as an artist.
My paintings serve as visual narratives, each telling a distinct story inspired by the people, memories, nature, and mythological tales. Storytelling
aspect adds layers of depth and meaning to my art, overwhelming viewers to engage with my work on both emotional and intellectual levels.
Adapting my choice of painting materials to suit the needs of the painting surface, demonstrates my technical skill and versatility as an artist. This
ensures that my artistic vision is effectively translated onto the canvas or any other medium of work with, allowing me to fully realize the stories
and themes I would like to convey. Overall, my artistic practice reflects a profound connection to my roots, a keen observation of the world around
me, and a commitment to storytelling through the medium of painting.
