About the Artist:
Jattinn Kochhar views art as a space where boundaries dissolve—a space where fashion, memory, emotion, and form converge. Although he began his creative journey in the world of fashion, it is through mixed media and abstract expressionism that he has found the most authentic expression of his inner world.
His work is a dialogue between tradition and modernity, informed by his Indian heritage and a constantly evolving global perspective. Jattinn is drawn to the raw energy of textures, layers, and unconventional materials, which allow him to explore themes of transformation, memory, and the unseen emotional undercurrents of life.
His creative process is intuitive, deeply personal, and often introspective. He moves freely across disciplines, guided not by convention but by a need to express something deeply felt. For Jattinn, the act of making art is both a reflective and a liberating process—an attempt to give form to emotions and experiences that transcend language.
He believes that art is not something to be fully explained but to be felt. Through his work, he hopes to create a space of connection—where viewers can experience something universal within the deeply personal, and find their own stories reflected in his visual language.
