About The Artist
As a graduate from the Paris School of Business, Sophie Muret was first a consultant in consultancy agencies. In May 2019, with her serie “No Staging Just an Undressing“ Sophie was unveiled in Arles, France, a globally well renowned city, a temple for Photography and Art. Making herself known through her strongly singular work, Sophie Muret accelerated the development of her artistic project. In 2020, with the opening of Gallery La Belle Etoile in Arles, her artistic adventure takes an additional leap forward. There, she organises contemporary art and photography exhibitions with international artists. It is in 2020 that Sophie Muret created the concept of In-Corpus Photography, the matrix for her first Festival initiated in Arles in 2021. The declared objective: to wake consciousness with regards to the relationship between the body and being; and to promote international contemporary photography. Sophie Muret Photography is shown all around the Globe in international exhibitions.
