About The Artist

Her practice is deeply inspired by the beauty and intricacy of nature. She finds endless creativity in the textures, colors, and details of the natural world, which often become the foundation of her work. There’s a strong emotional and philosophical connection to the environment in everything she creates—a reminder of how vital it is to appreciate and protect the world around us.

Stylistically, her work leans toward the stylised and conceptual. Rather than aiming for realism, she’s more interested in capturing the essence of her subjects. Her art invites introspection and interpretation, encouraging viewers to engage in their own dialogue with the work and with the world.

A major theme in her recent series is judgment—how quick society can be to form opinions based on appearances or assumptions. She challenges those surface-level readings, exploring the complexity of individual experiences and perspectives. Her work speaks to the importance of empathy and looking beyond what we first see.

She’s also incredibly versatile in her use of mediums—working across oils, acrylics, charcoal, new media, and installation. Each medium brings its own possibilities, and she uses them to push creative boundaries, always grounded in her connection to the natural world.

For her, art is more than a practice—it’s a necessity. It brings her joy, fulfillment, and a sense of calm. When she’s not making art, she feels unsettled. The act of creating is a form of self-therapy and reflection, and it’s where she processes personal thoughts, anxieties, and experiences.

One of the recurring motifs in her work is the beehive—a symbol of comfort zones and mental or emotional shelters. In this series, she explores how we seek safety in familiar spaces, and what it means to feel secure within ourselves.

More recently, she’s been researching Tankri, the lost script of the Pahari language. She’s fascinated by its cultural significance and is weaving it into her visual language—bridging past and present, and reconnecting with heritage in a contemporary context.

While her work is deeply personal, it also resonates on a broader level. She’s committed to using art as a tool for social change and is passionate about collaborating with other artists and organizations. For her, art isn’t just about self-expression—it’s a way to spark dialogue, build empathy, and make a meaningful impact.
