About The Artist:
Deepak Kumar Rai a Visual Artist, currently based in Delhi, He has completed his bachelor from College Of Art, New Delhi, and schooling from CBSE Board Delhi. He deliver his perspective for society through the medium of painting. He was born in Manguraha Tajpur, Muzaffarpur District, Bihar. Until the age of five and spent he childhood there and later on moved to Delhi with his parents for education, but he visit his home town on vacations because of the root connection with his birth place, rural nature and environment which gives him liveliness. he feel fresh to paint his experience, incidents, social subjects and literature with a minimalistic Narrative approach because he see things in a simple way and try to find a way to merge 2D forms and 3D forms as an illusion, that's why his background is a flat color. The division of background to compare reflects reality and actuality and with kinetic emotions behind it.( Kinetic emotions when emotion evokes and it goes to the highest point and it starts falling and it forms a parabola that is why arc is there.) He painted diverse subjects with the help of his surroundings, memory and imagination which helps to show reality and actuality. We can't be regular. It's important to be irregular and move out of our comfort zone to see and explore the diversity. The Color palette is bright which shows the meaning behind the subject and it ends with a surprising element for the spectator to think about it.He painted his experience based on smoking. He has offered to smoke and drink but he refused and His not against anyone’s smoking habit, but do they know the reason why they actually smoke ? and got answers that many of them are addicted to smoke and drinks because, some due to friends circle, frustration, anxiety and many other reasons. If he see positive aspects that may be the reason to talk with someone, it may be the reason that can help you to move on from problems and may solve that, but do they know the cause of it and if they know then, Why are they not solving that problem ?
