About The Artist
Pulakesh Mandal, born in 1972, is a self-taught artist hailing from West Bengal, currently based in Faridabad, Haryana. Throughout his career, Mandal has showcased his work in numerous group and solo exhibitions across India and even internationally, including a notable show in Austria. His artistic excellence has been recognized with various awards, with the recent accolade being the BHARAT JOYATI MVLA RASHTRYA AA RATNA AWARD, which he received in 2022.
His contributions to the art world have been further immortalized through the publication of his book titled "FLOWERING CULTURE Contemporary Artist from India," which was recognized by Luciano Benetton. Mandal's artwork enjoys a global audience and has been acquired by collectors in Singapore, Thailand, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Austria, Dubai, and other locations worldwide.
