About The Artist
Prem Lata is renowned for her contemporary sculptures, which are vivid reflections of her innermost feelings and passion. She honed her sculpting skills under the guidance of Saroj Jain at Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi. Her sculptures delve into the complexities of emotions, echoing the harmonies of love and tender sentiments. She regularly contributes articles and stories to renowned Hindi magazines such as Sarita and has actively participated in exhibitions, including one at AIFACS where her piece "DHARTAL" was chosen for permanent display by the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi.
Her solo sculpture exhibition garnered widespread acclaim. Esteemed publications like New Women, Women’s Era, Greh Shobha, and several national newspapers have featured special articles on her work. Her creations are part of the esteemed collection at the National Gallery of Modern Art and the Delhi College of Art, as well as in numerous private collections both in India and internationally. Prem Lata continues to create and inspire from her base in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
