About The Artist
Shweta P. Raina, a visual artist with a Master of Fine Arts in Graphics from Santiniketan, embarked on her artistic voyage with a focus on Printmaking, a discipline in which she has specialized. Her art explores the intricate balance between the tangible and intangible, reality and abstraction, weaving the melodrama necessary for life's richness. As an artist captivated by the peculiarities of existence, her creations mirror her emotional reactions to life's ebbs and flows, encapsulating moments of time and the myriad of experiences and identities encountered along the way. Raina dedicates herself to charting these identities, gathering them as she navigates through life's journey. Her visual narrative often draws from the everyday, as she endeavors to transpose her internal exploration onto the canvas, giving shape to her innermost thoughts and feelings. Her works, infused with a blend of humor, are an extension of her studio practice in Faridabad (Delhi NCR), where she continues to delve into and portray the complex interplay of experiences and identities.
